Dearest Kitten:
Today I hit the jackpot, letters #64-5-6, two Vmail, your card, and a letter from Estelle. Did I have some reading material?
First let me tell you about the fudge. It was in a solid hunk and I had to throw it away because it was mouldy. Too bad, it looked like good fudge. Everything else in the packages was OK though.
I got a kick out of the card. It was nice of Tess to put a little message in it and also your little ditty.
Am very sorry to hear about Mr. Fuller. I know him slightly and if I get the opportunity, I will write to Mrs. Fuller. I was up to their house a couple of times and they treated me very nice. It is the least that I can do.
It is about time that Tess started to show. I hope that it is twins or even more than that triplets. Tell her that for me. She will appreciate my well wishes.
Hm-m so my daughter is taking after her mother. Does she pick it up by watching you flirt or is it inherited?
Julie must be impatient as h---. Can you imagine how you would feel if you were in her boots. I sure hope that they get together soon, they deserve it.
Letter #61 just came with yours & Bobby's pictures. They are swell and how I would like to wrap my arms around the people whose picture they are. I have the four of them stapled together and standing on my desk, where all I have to do is look up and see pictures of my whole family.
Do not mind the pieces cut out of the first page as I did that myself. I wrote Later and put parenthesis around it. The parenthesis are tabu in letters.
Glad that you like the trinkets. Have the links on the bracelet soldered with silver solder at the jewelers when you have the clips put on.
...
Yep, I'm putting on weight, so much that I do not dare to weigh myself. I will have to get out & play more golf to keep my waist line down.
Forget about cutting Barbara's hair off. It will eventually grow out properly. Give her time she will be just as nice as her mother in about 18 years.
What do you mean, telling me not to date a WAC? Then it is OK to date an Aussie babe? Just what brought all this up anyhow?
Enclosed you will find a picture of myself taken by my company commander. Those are the koala bears that I told you about. The one on my head is a small one. Their fur is so nice and smooth that I would like to have a skin from one of them.

There is also another page from our paper. I am glad that you enjoyed the first one. I will try to send them each week. By the way, the jacket that I am wearing is my battle jacket, without tie.
Well, Beautiful, I have to close as it is necessary that I attend a lecture by order of higher Authority.
There is a place that I would like to be right now and it sure as h--- isn't here. There is nothing that I would rather do than to be able to take you in my arms and tell you how much that I love you.
Give my regards to every one & kiss the babies for me. I love you Sweetheart.
Your Loving, Devoted, & Faithful Husband,
Bob
