Dearest Wife:
It has been a
long time since I have written. I imagine how you have felt since hearing from
me last has not been too pleasant. By the time that you receive this letter, I
am in hopes of being situated so that I may be able to write to you regularly.
I am still
very much in love with you and my main desire is to return to you as soon as it
is possible. That particular day can not be too soon to suit me, as well as
millions of other people.
Excuse the
poor writing as I am writing this on board the transport and facilities for
writing are not the best.
I am in fine
health and good spirits. Am hoping that everyone at home are fine, and that
your father is feeling better by now.
Last Sunday I
went to communion and was able to attend Mass this morning.
Haven't been
seasick yet and sure hope that my luck holds out. From what I have seen of some
of the men that were sick, it is no fun.
Regards to all
& kiss the babies for me.
Your Loving
Husband
Bob
