Letter #3 (V-Mail), 25 May, 1944

Dearest Kitten:
You are still my kitten although I have not been calling you that lately. You are still the most important thing in my life. How could I ever think otherwise when you are such a beautiful wife?
Today your anniversary card came. It took a month to reach me. Of course it was by regular mail. Your letter of the 10th came yesterday and your V-Mail of the 11th came today. What are you doing sending me pictures by chain letter? your 5th & 6th letters are still missing.
From your 8th letter you are planning to take a cottage with Roland and Marion for the summer. It sounds like a good proposition. You can do what you like about it. You will anyhow. That last crack was not very nice of me.
No I did not know that Franny lived on Gershom Ave. You must have thought that you had told me, but I do not remember reading about it. Wish him good luck for me if you see him before he leaves.
I have not received Marion's letter as yet. She probably sent it regular mail so it take quite to reach me. Tell Roland to write and tell me of his new job.
Bobby shouldn't forget his dad. I sure enjoy reading about the things that he says and does. How I wish that I could put them to bed tonight. I am rather lonesome tonight. The chances of my running into Blanche is very slim. The South Pacific area is a big place.
The civil service money should have been saved. You said that you were going to live on your regular allotment and save the rest, well.
Regards and kiss the babies.
I love you Kisskisskiss
Bob
