Dearest Kitten
I love you so much that words fail me. If only I had the ability, I am sure that I could write the most wonderful poem about the most Beautiful wife in the world.
In your letter of Sunday, that just came, you said that you were lonely. So am I Sweetheart. I miss you so darn much that it is not funny anymore. Thank the Lord that I have something to look forward too, and that is my coming home to my wife and babies. What a wonderful time that will be.
Last night we had a meeting of all Officers and NonComs. It lasted until ten, so I did not get a chance to write to you.
This afternoon we got a lot of boats. Our boat training will start soon, so if my letters start to become irregular, you will know why.
Sure wished it was possible to exchange some of the heat down here for some of the cold up there. I am getting quite a tan. While working on the transition course, we used to strip to the waist.
Was just informed that for a few days I have to attend a school in the main camp and that tonight I have to attend another meeting.
Regards to all & kiss the babies for me
I love you, Kitten.
Enclosed is two pictures taken four days before we left Edwards.
Your Loving, Devoted, & Faithful Husband
Bob
